The Honey Bee DVD

I am thrilled to bits. The DVD I have been working on since the winter months at the beginning of the year and all through spring, summer and autumn 2014 has finally arrived! Now we can really start to take the message into schools about the importance of the Honey Bee. Educating children and young people is a particular passion of mine, so I really am over the moon. I couldn’t have undertaken this amazing project without funding and support from Menter a Busnes and the Bee Co-operative Project, who have been absolutely marvellous.

Nosy Cow!

Cows are curious creatures. Beautiful, gentle… but very nosy! These youngsters couldn’t help listening in when Haf and Myrddin from Menter a Busnes visited some of my hives this week.

I’m absolutely thrilled to bits to announce that we have officially received funding from the Bee Co-operative Project via Menter a Busnes to produce our DVD to help educate primary aged children about the importance of the Honey Bee and promote breeding of the British Honey Bee. Couldn’t be more thrilled and excited.
